i have been looking for some type of dvd excercise that has variation so i won't get bored and thats how i found chalean extreme...
i tried zumba and kickboxing.... i have all sorts of exercise DVDs.... i have ab boot camp and tae bo... i have walk away the pounds and i have jilian michaels' 30-day shred.... while they are all different they have one thing in common.... i got bored after a few tries....
i won't lie....i'm not sure if i'm going to finish the initial 30 days with this chalean extreme too but i want to give it a try...
i bought this dvd a week ago and have been listening to her motivational audio cd...
i listened to it twice... (and i kept it in my car so i could listen to it every time i'm feeling lazy to exercise)....
and then i popped the first cd to learn about the basics and the proper form....
after 2 days i popped the burn circuit 1 cd.... i just watched it....i want to know how many dumbbells and what weights i need to buy....
and yesterday i bought a set of 5 lbs and i borrowed a set of 8 lbs from our office gym (i told our gym "curator" that i'll just need it for 2 weeks so that he would let me borrow it) and a pair of trainer gloves (don't want any calluses, lol)
it was also yesterday that i started chalean... burn circuit 1... for 30 minutes.... i'm currently all sore....
in my next post i will post my current weight and a picture of me ... and in my succeeding posts i would be posting the following:
\what i ate
\what exercise i did (ie what routine, which dvd, etc)
\how many calories i think i consumed
\the weights i used
no, i'm not planning to bulk up i made sure that wouldn't be the case before i committed on this dvd....i just want to have lean muscles....
muscle burns fat!
wish me luck...
p.s.
today i bought 1 set of 3 lbs....
what i have right now are:
1 set of 8s
1 set of 5s
1 set of 3s
1 set of 1s
p.p.s
tomorrow, day 2 is rest day
